Write a Justification
Justification
Explain in a written justification why information flows between departments, giving examples and trying to use the key terms for Good Information TIMELY, VALID, ACCURATE, RELIABLE. FIT FOR PURPOSE, LEVEL OF DETAIL etc
Use two headings to write your justification
Internal Flows of information (explain how information flows between at least three different departments for Sewport and 2 different departments for Barclays)
Example.
I have clearly demonstrated there is a flow of information between HR and Finance (These would be my two for Barclays) within the Barclays system. This is an important flow, for example, if an employee was on maternity leave or long term sick, the employee would communicate this to HR, this information would need to be shared with Finance as this would effect their pay, and so its is important that the Finance receive Timely information about this in order to create accurate payroll
External flow of information (explain all the external agencies for both companies)
Example
I have clearly shown that the Raw Materials department of Sewport need to communicate with external agencies. This is with regard to the Import/export of raw materials needed to create the products. For a company like Sewport, if they trade globally, there will be many pieces of legislation they need to follow, Taxes, Shipping, Import and Export Laws, and so it is important they communicate with .GOV.UK to insure that they are operating at the right level of detail. It is also important that GOV,UK give Timely and Accurate information to ensure that Sewport work within the law.
